Resident Monitoring System

A Resident Monitoring System helps protect the safety of senior care community residents.

ResidentMonitoring A Resident Monitoring System helps protect the safety of senior care community residents by carefully monitoring their location and status, and detecting falls and wandering. The system is typically managed from multiple staff work areas or nurses’ stations via monitoring equipment. Calls and emergencies are sent to both care stations and staff via wireless phones or pagers, identifying the location, name and room numbers of the resident.  This provides staff with immediate knowledge of the request, as well as accountability via system software. The system is a fully integrated with access control technologies, using common hardware throughout the installation.  In addition, residents location services can be provided as well as advanced reporting capabilities.

Facilities can also track the performance of caregivers by documenting the reason for emergency calls, the amount of time until the call is completed and the personnel who responded to the call. This provides administrators with staff performance information while ensuring families their loved ones are well cared for.
