Giving Back: Our Commitment to Community

John Dalton, the Principal Consultant and founder of IT Initiatives, Inc., has dedicated a significant portion of his life to philanthropic efforts. Since founding IT Initiatives in 2001, John Dalton has not only led the firm to become a leader in the strategic technology marketplace, particularly for the healthcare industry, but he has also focused on supporting communities and non-profit organizations through his time, talent, and treasure. 

One notable example of his philanthropic work is his involvement with the Ashley Lauren Foundation. John Dalton was honored at the “Chefs Who Care” event on May 20, 2024, where he was recognized for his contributions and support of The Ashley Lauren Foundation.  The Foundation is dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families, and John Dalton’s support has been instrumental in advancing their mission.  John Dalton also sits on the board of the Family Resource network as well as the affiliated organizations including Autism Family Services of New Jersey, Epilepsy Services of New Jersey and Caregivers of New Jersey.  In addition, John Dalton also sits on the board of St. Rose High School, Belmar, New Jersey and provides leadership and support to bring innovation and improvement to both the technology and infrastructure of the school’s campus.

John Dalton has been involved in various other philanthropic events, boards, committees and initiatives, consistently demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community. His efforts include organizing and participating in events that benefit non-profit organizations and supporting causes that align with his values and the mission of IT Initiatives.  The Firm’s mission not only includes significant donations, endowments and financial support to non-profit organizations, but also donating time back to these charities to full their mission for the greater good.
